Tuesday, May 12, 2009, from 8.30 in the premises of the Medical Association of Foggia (Via V. Acquaviva - Foggia) will hold a meeting on immigration, health and hospitality.
The initiative, sponsored by the Puglia Region, Province and the Municipality of Foggia, was organized by the University dauno Solidaunia in collaboration with the University Hospital OO.RR. of Foggia, Foggia of the Order of Doctors, the ACLI, Opera Nomadi and the Italian Society of Medicine of Migration.
The meeting will be an opportunity for multidisciplinary reflection on a very topical issue such as health and acceptance of immigrants through the help of experts and scholars of the anthropological, sociological, educational and health care.
The seminar will address various issues related to services in the area that need to be more connected in a logical system and which have as their object the immigrants, with particular attention to education, nursing, social intervention to protect of foreign children and their families.
