article Enrico Ciccarelli (published Foggia & ; Foggia )
Among the many names in the running for this campaign stands to Joan Zezza (in photo), a young doctor from Foggia (is currently a major in Forensic Medicine), which is among the survivors of the tragedy of Viale Giotto, this year marks the tenth anniversary. We consider one of the bravest people we have ever known, and certainly not to blame for the disaster, that grim solemnity and grandeur certainly will not be contaminated in a story as significant as the election campaign, but for everything it has done later. Pushing down on the human desire to forget that belongs to anyone who has been the victim of a tragedy of those proportions, Joan was in fact the soul of the movement of those who fought against the idea that the building in Viale Giotto was rebuilt in situ , at the death of many dozens of people. A struggle carried on with determination and tenacity, but without fanfare, without the bitter, claiming the reasons of compassion and sensitivity rather than that of the claim. In that battle was found an important ally in Massimo D'Alema, Prime Minister at the time of the tragedy, the subject was able to get by Interior Minister Enzo Bianco a different approach, that of monetary compensation. A concern for what D'Alema was rightly awarded the honorary citizenship in 2004. The story also had a private aspect, with former premier and his wife (Linda Giuva Foggia) witnesses for the wedding of Joan Zezza. Born August 11, 1974, under the sign of Leo, Joan is the first experience in politics, although he has always sympathized with the left. Obviously we are not in a position to say what will be his luck in this competition and if Foggia reward his commitment and his passion. For our part we can only say, having been for professional reasons spectators and participants of its activities, which we have always admired the courage, grace and balance. Quality that would not be too sure of one representative of the citizens.
